Creating an Excel Histogram: A Step-by-Step Tutorial

1. Open Excel

In the "Labels" section, click on "Legend," then select "None" from the drop-down menu to remove the legend from the chart.

12. Click on "Axes"

Under "Labels," click on "Axes," then select "Primary Horizontal Axis" to add it to the histogram chart.

13. Click on "Title"

In the "Labels" section, click on "Title," and choose "Axis Title" from the drop-down menu. Type in a title for the horizontal axis.

14. Click on "Primary Vertical Axis"

Under "Labels," click on "Axes," then select "Primary Vertical Axis" to add it to the histogram chart.

15. Click on "Title" Again

In the "Labels" section, click on "Title," choose "Axis Title," and type in a title for the vertical axis.

16. Click on "Chart Title"

Click on "Chart Title" in the "Labels" section, then type in a title for the histogram chart.

17. Save Your File

Navigate to the "File" tab, click on "Save As," type in a file name, and click "Save" to save your histogram chart.
