How to Unhide Cells in Excel: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you're working with a large Excel spreadsheet, you may find yourself in need of hiding certain cells from view. Maybe you're only working with a small section of the data, and the rest is just getting in the way. Or perhaps you want to protect sensitive information by hiding it from prying eyes. Whatever the reason, hiding cells in Excel is a pretty simple process.

How to Hide Cells in Excel

To hide cells in Excel, first, select the cells you want to hide. Then, right-click on the selection and choose "Format Cells" from the drop-down menu. A new window will open up. On the "Number" tab, select the "Custom" category and then enter the following format code into the box:
